In this fun, fictional story, young readers will see how a young boy overcomes his fear of monsters. The main character, who is unnamed, is convinced that monsters are everywhere in his house. After seeing a sign for karate classes the boy enrolls so that he can fight off the monsters. The boy shows off his karate moves and is certain that the monsters will never bother him again.
The author of this story uses wonderful words and illustrations to make sure his audience is entertained. This would be a great story to read to children when talking about bravery. ( )
