I recently found all my old Brambly Hedge books and decided to re-read them. I am happy to report that the stores are just as good and the illustrations are just as gorgeous as I remembered them being. I think these are stories young and old alike can enjoy and the beautiful pictures will definitely be of interest to all ages. ( )

Read it all to my daughter in one night, after skipping over the comments by the author which were about 25 pages long. Very nice artwork. My daughter chose this book from her school library because she liked the illustrations. The Fall Story is a bit scary. ( )

Lovely and adorable and charming. I would have read this over and over as a young girl, ogling the detailed, delightful illustrations. Reminds me a bit of another favorite, Father Fox's Pennyrhymes.
