Fascinating story of Torino from their founding to the 50th anniversary of the 'Tragedy of Superga' - that was when the whole side was tragically killed in a plane crash just outside Turin.
In 40's the best italian football team worlwide know wasn't Juventus or International FC or Milan FC like nowaday: the best in Italy, who was rising after the Second World War, was FC Torino. The book tell the story of the team, from the firs steps by President Ferruccio Novo in 1939 and the success (5 "scudetti") , to the tragical conclusion in 1949 in an airplane disaster beetween Superga's hill.
