This book affected me greatly as a teenager and helped spur my love of bicycles, mechanics, and line drawings. It is a little bit verbose at times, but the intro is very good and the illustrations are wonderful to look at.
The only book you'll need on bike maintenance. Its not only a great reference book, its also fun to read straight through.
This book is indeed an excellent resource, but at times the wording and diagrams could have been a bit clearer. I would say this book is best for the advanced beginner or above, but there may be better guides out there for the novice.
good info, but not nearly enough pictures to adequately illustrate what is being explained.
