The story is a contempoary realistic fiction about a girl's bad haircut and how she overcame her negative feelings of embarassment. She disscovers it is not worth it.She relizes that the people that realy matter eccept her for who she is. I liked the story and thought it would be easy for children to relate to. Worrying about what others think is a hurdle for all of us. Exstention lesson - I'm the only person I have to be better than. Another area might be eccepting others. ( )
