An older Nora Roberts but still fun. Victoria "Tory" Ashton has stepped into her father's footsteps as Sheriff and she's trying to decide what to do with her future, when Philip Kincaid breezes through her town she issues him with a speeding ticket and when he disagrees she tosses him in the local jail, mostly for really annoying her. THe relationship progresses from there.
Yes, it's predictable, but it's also a lot of fun.

Why is the picture on the cover of a blonde when the heroine has black hair?
