Such a disappointment for the ending of this series. Loved the humor, the courageous attitude of the previous heroines. Paddy is gone, the mother and father plus her sister are just background people adding nothing to the story. This one had so much potential with a female former Olympic star now running a charitable riding academy and a Irish male trainer coming to the family stables. Yet there was just a virgin girl deciding that since she always gets what she wants, choosing to seduce and marry her first lover. He thinks of her like he thinks of a horse. Nothing adventurous or exciting happens.
I liked that the female heroine was actually in a superior position. We got to see Brian's good qualities right away.

As far as Brian Donnelly was concerned, a vindictive woman had invented the tie to choke the life out of man so that he would then be so weak she could just grab the tail of it and lead him wherever she wanted him to go. Wear... (show all)ing one made him feel stifled and edgy, and just a little awkward.

(Click to show. Warning: May contain spoilers.)When he reached to grip her hand, Keeley gripped his firmly. And had everything.
