An amusing tale of life as a western consultant in the wild east that was Russia in the early 90's. A good set of anecdotes tied into the story of trying to open a fast food chain with local partners. Manouevering around the various bureacracies of aid donors, Russian ministries and, not least, the local mafia. Told with good humour that shows an appreciation and affection for Russian culture and the life of ordinary Russians in what were difficult and confusing times.
