John White is great. Practical, down to earth, and biblical. This is by no means the last word on leadership. It's more like anecdotal observations on leadership drawn from the book and life of Nehemiah rather than a cohesive treatise on leadership. But don't let that put you off. It's worth reading and reflecting on God's word to us in Nehemiah. It's sort of a contemplative approach to examining one's call to leadership.
