Summary: Lu is a curious little girl who likes to ask lots of questions. Growing up in the Great Depression, she sees being rich as having family and one friend. She meets what she believes to be Swamp Ghost and is commanded to bring him food. In the end, he is only a lonely little boy who she brings in to become part of her family.
