Aphrodite's Girdle was missing and Hale is dispatched to retrieve it, however he couldn't take it, the woman who had it, Tracy Tannin, had to give it to him so he had to get close to her. So he finds himself attracted, and she finds herself attracted to him, but is his attraction because of the girdle?

It's pretty predictable but a fun read.

Book 2 in the Protector's series. There is a prequel to the series called Cat's Fancy. This is Hale's story. He's a superhero who dislikes "normal" people, but finds himself attracted to one. Very cute, funny romance with a lot of superhero elements and winks to conventions of the genre.
This was a whacky book and I liked it a lot. I'll be reading more from this author.
