For six years, the Outcast Hieronymous held Protector Second Class Jason Murphy prisoner. The problem is that Hieronymous is not only a very powerful Outcast, he is also Jason's father. Jason learned this the same day his lover, Lane Kent, told him she was pregnant.
While Jason tries to figure out how to explain the complicated situation to Lane, he's been assigned to surveillance at San Diego's Sea World park. Fun, slight comedy with paranormal powered people. Jason can talk to fish and transform into a dolphin, problem is that after he got Lane pregnant he went missing for 6 years, now he's back, but will she take him back?
Book 3 in the Protector's series. There is a prequel to the series called Cat's Fancy. This is Jason's story. Jason has the ability to talk to fish and turn into one. After he is captured and held captive for many years, he escapes, only to find out he has a son with his previous girlfriend. Very cute, funny romance with a lot of superhero elements and winks to conventions of the genre.
