Atreus is Vanax of Akora, a title similar to King, but not quite. The Vanax is chosen in a mysterious ritual, and it's rumored that the chooser is Akora itself. However, those who seek power and wish to discredit and oust him claim this as a lie. Brianna helped nurse Atreus through a recent convalescence and then returned to England seeking more information about the country she supposes she was from before she washed up a shipwrecked orphan on the shores of Akora. Atreus has determined from a vision he saw during his Vanax-choosing ritual, that she is to be his consort, and goes off to England to "fetch" her. Brianna is not easily fetched, and Atreus is not used to being contradicted. The sparks really fly between these two! I loved show more them both and the land of Akora as well. show less

Cuando sus padres, ingleses, murieron durante una tormenta en el mar, Brianna fue adoptada por la familia real akorana.
