The next three books in the series follow the eldest children of those we met earlier. Amelia, daughter of Alex and Johanna, despairs of finding a man who is strong, intelligent and willing to accept her as an equal. When she is kidnapped one night, and escapes on her own, she is assisted in her escape by American Neils Wolfson, called "the Wolf". Neils is in England investigating a very deadly incident in an American harbor, in which he suspects Amelia's cousin Andreas had a part. He tries to deny his feelings for Amelia due to his distrust of her family, but really can't help himself.
This was not my favorite in the series, considering there's not much Akora in it, but it was still good. Not a fan of Neils' deception either.
