Isn't it weird that we are all rooting for Sasuke even when he has turned evil? He is no longer the kid who is the protagonist's friend. He is a different person consumed by his need for revenge. He is a bad guy, just like Orochimaru and the members of Akatsuki.
Shouldn't we be indifferent to this battle? What does it matter whether Sasuke or Deidara wins? Yet, we want Sasuke to succeed. Maybe we want to see him turn good in the end because of Naruto. I guess that shows our own hope and optimism.

Once the fight ended, the story picked up nicely, pushing the main action right where we all want to see it. Itachi, Ero-Senin, and Pain.
We're seeing the hints of good things to come, too, such as Madara. Finally! A major villain worthy of a saga!

I read this book called Naruto by Masashi Kimoto, and I love it. Deidara and Sasuke's big fight is a great part of the
story. Or should I say, GORY. The book version is manga and it is originally japenese. Manga is also english and that is the version I have read.
