Ainslee's a bit of a tomboy. She can ride, wield a sword and throw a dagger as well as any man. When she's captured by Sir Gabel de Amalville she finds herself in a precarious situation.
Okay it was a readable story but if you look a little closer it falls apart. The accent is a little bit annoying when you realise that they wouldn't have that accent. He's norman and she's scottish, their common language would possibly be french or latin, not english.

A Norman knight, Scottish lass, dastardly father and scheming clans… what more can you ask for in a Scottish romance.
