Elaine Benson's life becomes enmeshed in the Madison family's history and home. Strong willed and good-natured Moira Madison asks Elaine to organize her letters and write her biography as a WWII nurse. But someone isn't happy with Moira's plans.
Good mystery but lots more could have been done with it; more red herrings, etc.
Delany's strength is her historical writing which I loved. I wish there was more of that side of the story.
