Nothing special unfortunately. It starts out alright, but somehow the double life part fizzles a bit after a while - more could have been done with this. Also, there's too much doubting and woolgathering. ( )

A delicious Regency read!! Engaging characters and an entertaining plot line. Nice amount of steam to keep the story popping!

Gillian is a terrific character and Richard really has to work to win her over. Such an entertaining tale, much farce!

I love a lively historical with all the pomp and circumstance! Really enjoyable read!

A fun series. ( )

Rarely would I call a book "cute," but that is the word that comes to mind with this book. The plot was weak with gigantic holes in it. The flow of the story wasn't quite right. BUT you gotta love Gillian, Richard and his perky sisters! This author's great talent is clearly lively, fun dialogue. Gillian and Richard teased and taunted their way through the story in a very cute, endearing way. Not a great book, but I really LIKED it. ( )
