From bestselling author and motivational speaker Lisa Nichols comes a unique and powerful inspirational program that will both move you and empower you to realize your dreams. Millions are trying to live by The Secret's Law of Attraction, but the truth is it won't work unless you flex your all-important "bounce-back" muscles, which give you the ability to successfully navigate life's speed bumps. By developing and toning her own bounce-back muscles at critical points in her life, Lisa found the power to become her authentic self and achieve everything she dared to hope for. Now, in No Matter What, she offers a groundbreaking program that outlines these 9 Steps or "muscles", which include among others your Confidence, Faith-in-Myself, Honesty Out Loud and Forgiveness muscles, and explains how anyone can use them to achieve happiness and off-the-charts success. In this powerful guide Lisa Nichols introduces her dynamic plan, shares her own remarkable story, and prescribes specific exercises and action steps to inspire readers to learn from their past and move toward a courageous future. "I've watched Lisa Nichols light up rooms and inspire thousands for years. As a featured teacher in The Secret, she explained the Law of Attraction, but now, for the first time, she reveals her own secret to happiness: the Law of No Matter What. Read this book, and learn to create the things in life you believed were out of reach." --Marci Shimoff, bestselling author of Happy for No Reason and featured teacher in The Secret "Lisa is a living example of what it takes to overcome the inevitable obstacles in your path...with the help of this book, you'll be able to soar to success--no matter what!" --Jack Canfield, Co-Author of the New York Times Bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul Series "Lisa Nichols is a rock star of personal growth! Gutsy and authentic, in No Matter What, Lisa uses her charismatic and influential style to teach resilience. Whether you are a seasoned student of character and enlightenment or just starting, this book is a must read, advanced course for possibility." --Stephen M. R. Covey, author of The New York Times bestseller The Speed of Trust… (more)

Lisa Nichols is far from perfect, but in many wonderful people's eyes whose lives she's changed from worse for the better with the power of her positive words and with the power of her positive actions, she's really one of a kind, a truly inspirational human being, and that's just one of the many reasons why I decided to learn more about her through this wonderful book, for she made quite an impression on me through her guest appearance on Steve Harvey Show and through her guest appearance on Impact Theory, in fact, she moved me to tears. That's why I knew that I needed to learn more about her, about her story, about her personal success story, about how she managed to raise herself from poverty to riches. And as luck would have it-I did learn more. I learned so many things surrounding her life that she's mentioned in this book, I learned of her past, about her present, about her hopes for the future, I learned of her world-view, her inspirational personality, her identity, but what I truly appreciate is that I learned of her wisdom and that I learned of her knowledge, for Lisa Nichols as imperfect as she is, she's very knowledgeable and wise, and if it's anything that truly inspires me, is truly inspirational people who want for other people to search for, discover, and uncover their endless and limitless potential, so they can make a truly special unforgettable journey out of their lives. I really like Nichols' enthusiasm and energy. I don't find her overbearing or insincere at all, which is the case with a number of "self-help" authors. This was an easy read, and her anecdotes maintain reader interest. I don't find myself shifting my life in a particular way after having read this, but that's not to say it won't help others. There are religious overtures in this book, which don't match my belief system, but would be effective for some readers. ( )

This was an early review book I never did receive, so recently I borrowed a copy from the library. Just seemed like your standard self-help book although the author did go through some pretty dramatic episodes in her life, which is the only thing that kept it interesting. I'm not so compelled by the religious aspect. It could motivate some people I suppose. ( )

I am very, very late at reviewing this book I received as an Early Reviewer, and I'm really sorry I didn't read it sooner, it's actually quite a good book. The author has an enthusiasm that I really enjoyed, and the way the book is set up makes it an easy read, with little exercises scattered throughout the book. Now, I can't say that the book changed my life, but given that I've read more "self help" books than I can count, it did actually offer some tips and ways of looking at things that I hadn't really considered before. And best of all it offered practical advice on how to change your attitude and thinking, as well as the way you interact with other people. It will still take work to build the life you want, but I'm willing to keep this book around, and try the advice when I need that extra little kick in the pants to get back on track with my life instead of just giving up. I was also pleasantly surprised that despite the fact she appeared in the movie The Secret, this book wasn't about just "wishing" your way to a better life. ( )
