A light different kind of mystery/adventure. Middle school level. ( )

If you're familiar with Men in Black, then you have a good sense of what this book will be like. It's a quick moving story despite its size, and will appeal to tweeners. Makes for a nice beach read for the reluctant Young Adult or the month of October.

The name of the story I read was Killer Pizza. The story is about a kid named Toby McGill and he just got a job at a pizza place called Killer Pizza. But making pizza isn’t the only thing you do at that job. You can actually hunt for monsters that bite humans and make them their own! But there are always cautions when you work at Killer Pizza, you can get bitten and turn.

Killer Pizza was a fantastic book! Just enough details and a great story. I would rate this book 5 stars out of 5 because the book made me feel like I was inside the story with Toby. I would recommend this book to anyone. This seems like it was the first ‘kids’ book that I actually enjoyed. ( )

Toby Magill had just sat down at his desk to boot up his computer when he heard his cell phone ring. Tossing aside the graphic novels and clothes strewn across his bedroom floor, Toby found the phone in a pair of cargo shorts and snapped it open.
