A hilarious book that encourages children about the proper care of library books. The children will giggle, but librarians and biblophiles will laugh uproariously! Excellent for reading to preschool and kindergarten children getting their first introduction to the library. ( )

I really enjoyed this book. It teaches children how to take care of library books and the "do's and dont's." It is also written very simply and also nicely so that the children can understand the point of the story while also learning it in a fun way. This would be a great book to read to young kids who are just starting school so the teachers can inform them on what they should and should not do. Th rhymes and creative pictures really give it a fun twist! ( )

This cute and fun picture book explains to students how to take good care of their library books, all while rhyming. This would be a great read for kindergarten and 1st graders, for either read aloud or quiet reading. I think this would be a great book to incorporate into a rhyming lesson. ( )

The creativity of this book is great for teaching young readers about books. This shows them the appropriate way to handle books when they get them from a library and the appropriate way to read them. I thought the clever rhymes were great and catchy. I find this will get young readers excited about books and ready to explore the library. I think is great to read to New and young readers. ( )

Need a book for children to learn how to treat book?
Lucky for you, you THIS is the book! This book is great for any age of kids who mistreat books.

Just as the title suggests, please don't eat the book! YUCK! Also, do not put books near water or the sun. Need a bookmark? PLEASE do NOT fold the corner. That is called "dog-ears" and it harms the book. Along with this page, it shows us a picture of a dog reading a book.
"Don't overdue it, just renew it".... This quote is next to a picture of a tiny bear holding a mountain of books.

This book perfectly explains what we should and should not do with a book. It tells you with words and pictures. This is a silly book and will no doubt make children laugh while getting the important message across. ( )
