Summary: This books explains the geography and beginning of the development of dinosaurs. It teaches the reader about how the Earth used to work, and how the environment effected the animals and helped them change into dinosaurs from basic creatures. It describes each dinosaur's diet, hunting habits and distinguishing features.

Personal reflection: I always thought that dinosaurs were interesting, but this book goes into a lot of detail which was good to learn about. I learned that some animals that are even around today, originated first when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and had to have survived the Big Band.

Class use: This could be used to teach students about dinosaurs, and could be especially interesting for male students. You could even have them draw their favorite dinosaur or make up their own! ( )
