My son read this aloud to me this evening. It's an anthology of very short, mildly spooky tales for young children. Easy reading, and probably nothing that would be genuinely frightening for most children. I like the Frog and Toad story; most of the others are mediocre at best, and I'm not fond of much of the artwork. Still, my son likes it, and I guess that's what matters.
