subject of his book...or rather against everyone else but Ludwig.
He also takes an omniscient view point. Its one thing to speculate that a person thought this way or felt that. Its fine to have a theory. But none of us can know for certain what another person felt.
The author also makes claims that Ludwig inherited his mental problems from his mothers family the Hohenzollerns exclusively. The truth is that the bavarian royals (the Wittelsbaches) had their own share of it.Surehis aunt Alexandra is mentioned but we are assured the rest of Ludwigs aunts and uncles were "normal people"
I am not sure if something got lost in translation from german to english but this book was full of meanderings and factchecking failures. ( )
