This book takes you through Buster's experience with hiding a fossil that he finds after a school field trip. The moral of the story is to always tell the truth, especially to an adult. The story centralizes around Buster and Arthur's friendship and takes you through the mind of a young elementary student that is battle with doing the right or wrong thing. It can teach students of this age to always be truthful and responsible on a class field trip. Overall, a good chapter book by Marc Brown and beneficial to students practicing to read chapter books.
