Thrift store discovery.  What an eye-opener.  So interesting to learn how (at least some, at least a couple of decades ago) Australian aboriginal people lived.  In town, before they leave, everything seems pretty much like life in many small towns across the world.  But in the bush, boy do they have fun reliving a bit of their traditional culture.  The illustrations are vibrant, colorful, perfectly apt.  I'd recommend this more highly, but I must admit that vegetarians and animal-lovers will have real trouble with the main events & ideas of this story.
