Kevin Costner does his bit and Alan Rickman chews the scenery with relish. I've watched it many times but this was my first viewing on the BluRay version and it has some extra scenes which was a great surprise when I know the original DVD so well. Do you want an enjoyable few hours where the good guys win and the bad guys get their just desserts? - then this is the film for you. no reviews | add a review

A Robin Hood for the 90's, light years removed from the romantic vision of Errol Flynn ... but this gritty, pumped-up version can stand on its own. Rough, tough, and a rousing good time, with this version of the Sheriff of Nottingham a real surprise. No library descriptions found. |

2/4 (Indifferent).
There are a couple scenes that aren't boring. Most of the entertainment comes from wondering at the weird casting and weirder acting choices. Alan Rickman does his best to save the movie. ( )
