Down on the Farm

This book was about the different animals you would find on a farm and the different farm sounds the animals make.

This book would be wonderful for very young children. The sounds and pictures are very cute. The repetitiveness to the book is very catchy. I liked the book and think young children would be able to stay focused through out the book.

I would have my students draw pictures of their favorite farm animal and have them explain to the class why that was their favorite animal. I could also read this book to my class before I take them on a field trip to a farm. At the farm I would have them observe the different animals and the animals actions.

This is a great book to on an animal unit or farms animals. This book does a great job talking about the different animals that you will find on a farm and different facts about them.

I think this book would be good for pre-k thur first grade. This book helps children learn the different animals on the farm and what kind of sounds they make.

I would take the class to the farm and show them all the animals the book talks about.
