A must for all dog and cat owners who are willing to prodive the best care for their pet. Dr. Goldstein uses a wide array of holisitc methods -- from Chinese herbs to homeopathy to indepth blood nutritional analysis. He provides many case histories along with general information on specific problems. While this book should not replace trips to a vet, it does provide much information on alternative, holistic treatments which work.

My only two complaints about this book is (1) he does not provide specific dosages in all cases and (2) he basically skips the importance of food in treating disease in pets. Still, this book is worth it's weight in gold!
A must have for any dog owner that has a dog with any health issues, or if you want to prevent health issues.
