A business book weaving together three strands: the story of a struggling corporation that is turned around, Biblical scriptures and analysis related to each chapter, and a manual to guide the process of business culture change. Each element is effective but I found the combination disjointed. The business story suffers from the baldness that is characteristic of many management allegories; it lacks the fluidity of effective fiction. The homilies interrupt the flow of the story and do not really benefit from the context.
