The Fu Manchu Omnibus Volume 5, contains 'Island of Fu Manchu' and 'Wrath of Fu Manchu'.

'Island' is actually out of sequence since it really should be in an earlier omnibus.

'Wrath of Fu Manchu' is a short story collection published after the death of Rohmer. Most of the Stories were written in the late fifties (Rohmer died in 1959)

Only 4 stories feature Fu Manchu, but all of them are very good. The other tales are a mixed bag, but generally the quality is very high.

It pleases me that Rohmer's writing remained so good at the end of his career, and he deserves more recognition.

I can heartily recommend these Allison and Busby U.K. editions, the set of all 5 volumes looks great on the shelf, and is a very convenient way of obtaining the whole series.
