This is a great collection. All of the maps are large, in full color, and very detailed. It also comes with a book explaining each map: the story it goes along with, the places, and basic history. Reading the book by itself kind of gives you a snapshot of all Middle Earth and its History in one small volume.

I do like me some maps, but I wouldn't throw my money at it. I'm not THAT much of a fan.
It would make for decent gift.
Wow. I'm always wandering Middle Earth in my head. Now I have some maps! A fun book.
