As I read about the questioning of the children, I could see how the case grew to such ridiculous proportions. However, as I got more into the book, the author kept with the narrative that Kelly Michaels was a monster.
I then saw that Kelly Michaels had served 5 years in prison before she was released in 1992. This book was published in 1990, two years before she was exonerated. I abandoned the book halfway through as the author was not privy to all the facts. (
