Description
Many books about sexual purity speak to men, but few-if any-speak to young women. Lindsey Nicole Isham boldly fills that gap with No Sex in the City, the brutally honest and often hilarious story of Lindsey's quest for sexual purity in the face of an impure culture, baffled peers, and sexual desire. Speaking from her own experience and from years as an abstinence advocate, Lindsey treats young women like the sexual beings they are, exploring their desires and curiosities about sex while show more relating candid experiences and truths about sexual purity. A great tool for Bible studies, youth groups, and abstinence organizations, No Sex in the City will help young, single, Christian women discuss their thoughts and keep their purity commitments. show lessTags

Every single woman, even if they did not wait until marriage should read this book---& it would not hurt for men to read it to learn what a "real man" actually is.
The author relates her dating experiences (experiences which every girl can relate to, but would like to forget) that she has had while waiting for "Mr. Right" to come & tells how to respond to them. Although trying to set some of the limits may seem unrealistic, the main point comes through strong: WE ARE WORTH WAITING FOR & the men who think otherwise just do not know what they are missing out on!

A compelling, insightful, and highly personal call to stay true to God. Isham's words to be deeply touching and inspiring, and her honesty and heartfelt recognition of the issues that so many Christian women face are hopeful and beautiful.
