Book description
Nain Rowan had returned, it was whispered, to claim the power that lay in the serpent ring a Tudor had worn. She had come back in the person of Rowan Prester, married to one brother, loving another, the blood still hot in her veins though she ws fifty. But at Pen-Tan in the Welsh mountains her cold-eyed son and the demure Mina were fated to snatch that power away, to destroy her and her lover Jasper. The family had not yet learned that Rowan Prester also had sworn she would return. Set in the 17th century, this novel, complete in itslef, related the strange and passionate tale of the loves and hatreds that blind three generations in an endless circle.
