Originally published in 1909. In compiling the following bibliography the aim has been to give a complete account of the literature relating to the Gypsies- good, bad, or indifferent. It includes, besides separately published books and pamphlets, papers in the proceedings of societies or periodicals, magazine articles, important references in books dealing principally with other subjects, etc....Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900's and before, are now show more extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
