The author's personal glimpse into her own September romance and marriage. After the death of her first husband, author Marjorie Holmes never thought she would find love again--until a charming, recently widowed man stepped into her life and changed it forever. The miracle of their meeting is the beginning of a delightful true story, first brought to national attention through People magazine and Guideposts. The meat of this book is some good thoughts on marriage, re-marriage, and widowhood that make it worth reading. I don't have time to read about the scenery (unless it were important to the information.) An insight into Marjorie Holmes, where she is coming from that enrich the reading of her other books. She lacks depth in Biblical understanding in her writing, so this should not be a book used for those looking for scriptural observation. ( )
