Mates, Dates, and Mad Mistakes

This is perhaps the most grown-up book in the series so far. It teaches some valuable lessons that most teens would probably ignore, but the great Cathy Hopkins is right.

In this one, Izzie meets a right douche of a boy, Josh. The cool guy isn't so cool, he's a manipulative liar. One of the biggest lessons in this book is not to let people pressure you into doing anything you don't want to. And a smooth talker is usually a dickhead in disguise.

I recommend people to read this book if they maybe want to see how important conflicts, like love or band practices (etc...), affect teenager's lives. Personally, my favorite part of the book is when the author describes how Izzie and her parents sort parent problems out.

Izzie que es la protagonista de la historia quiere que la traten como una adulta y empieza a hacer cambios en su vida. Entre esos cambios conoce a un chico y sus amigas se preocupan por su apariencia. Es asì, como la mamà se opone, la castiga, etc.
