this is a classic carpet weaving pattern book published in paperback by Dover. it shows, in detail the patterns and designs used in Thr making of handmade carpets in Azerbaijan , a republic of the old Soviet Union that borders on Irann . this is a compendium of motifs and patterns I diagrammatic form. it is useful for anyone who is a keen needle worker and at the same time documents in diagrammatic format the designs and so is useful to anyone wishing to study handcrafted carpets from a traditional centre. the focus is on patterns so no amplifying text nor photographs of actual carpets, Useful all The same,
