Miss Tillie and Miss Bee are an odd pair that decide to buy a huge block of cheese that was a bargain. They find they need a cat to guard the cheese from mice, then they need some milk to feed the cat so they buy a cow and so on and so on. Kids will enjoy the humor in the book, but may need all of the idioms explained to them. Good for practicing inferential reading.
Miss Tillie and Miss Bee live alone at he top of a hill. Miss Bee craves more companionship and one day buys a huge wheel of cheese. Along with the cheese comes mice and if you've got mice you need a cat and then you need a cow. The cheese brings these 2 friends the companionship they have wanted all along.
