Hop On Pop has pictures that support the text. This is great for beginning readers to get clues from the pictures to figure out the words. This book even uses some silliness to keep the reader engaged (cup on pup).

Reading Hop on Pop using the LeapPad technology with this story gives this book new dimension. This is a way to interact with the book as well as read it. For struggling readers this is a way to find out what a word is quickly and get the story read without having to stop.

You can also choose to play a short game on each page that promotes learning phonemic sounds.
