Description

Although Catullus is one of the best known of the Roman poets, it is his shorter poems that are more familiar. This is the first edition of the long poems of Catullus in a single volume, which with the companion edition by John Godwin of the shorter poems completes all Catullus' surviving work. This edition aims to describe and discuss recent scholarship on the poems, seeing them in their context and in relation to each other as fully as possible.
