This is a very detailed book on drawing the human body. It goes into great detail on the bone and muscle structure underlying the skin so that the student gleans an understanding of how & why the body is contoured the way it is. Perard was an Art Instructor and Lecturer on Anatomy in New York when he published this book. He graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris & the National Academy of Design and Art, New York.
