I think I liked this book better than the 1st in the series. The plot of a gentleman finding the mother of a child thought to be his worked out better for me in this installment because, even though you know because it's a trilogy that Melody is not Colins, you don't have the 'mother' lying about it the whole time. He was searching for her and the whole time she became more and more of a horrible person in the readers eyes and by the end you were almost hoping he would never have to find her.

But again, the flaw come from the simple fact that it is a trilogy.
Sir Colin is pursuing a runaway actress who might be the mother of his child, three-year-old Melody. He hires her former seamstress to nursemaid Melody as they rush across the countryside. Complications ensue.

Very sexual.
