Personal Reaction:
I have always loved the Legend of Sleepy Hallow, it is a fun book to read, but by putting it in comic form it makes the reading more interesting and easier to follow for show more children. I really liked this one.
Teaching Extensions:
1) A lesson could be made from this book explaining what a mystery is.
2) A lesson could be derived showing the difference in legends and myths.
3) This book could be used to show that pranks and jokes are not always funny but can be harmful and dangerous. show less

The graphic novel uses wonderful illustrations to depict the legend with short conversation throughout to engage readers. The comic format gives a nice twist to the age old story.
