Easier reader of another boy of unknown ancestry (like Eragon) who lives in a seaside hotel with relatives who dislike him. He befriends a mermaid family and when their sea-home is in jeopardy of being discovered, the young boy Toby tries to disguise the mermaids as hotel guests. The story is easy reading, humorous, and boys or girls would like it.
