As an avid fantasy reader, I decided to give this series a try. It was very good...until I got to the fourth book. By then, I was tired of it.

The big problem with Robert Jordan is that he's too long-winded. He goes on and on forever in his writing, even moreso than Stephen King.

Approach this book series with caution; it'll very likely give you ending fatigue. ( )
