Its short sentences and easy to process words make reading this informational text and comprehending easy for a young crowd. ( )

This book is a great informational book because the pages have so much information about symbols on the map, different kinds of maps, and cardinal directions.It also has a key that explains why certain landmarks are important.

I would use this book as a read aloud for social studies in a young grade. I would use this book also by having children learn about the different landmarks in the U.S.
