Ten years after Blayne Thorpe first encountered Bo Novikov, she still can't get the smooth-talking shifter out of her head. Now he's shadowing her in New York-all seven-plus feet of him-determined to protect her from stalkers who want to use her in shifter dogfights. Even if he has to drag her off to an isolated Maine town where the only neighbors are other bears almost as crazy as he is . . .Let sleeping dogs lie. Bo knows it's good advice, but he can't leave Blayne be. Blame it on her sweet sexiness-or his hunch that there's more to this little wolfdog than meets the eye. Blayne has depths he hasn't yet begun to fathom-much as he'd like to. She may insist Bo's nothing but a pain in her delectable behind, but polar bears have patience in spades. Soon she'll realize how good they can be together. And when she does, animal instinct tells him it'll be worth the wait . . .… (more)

So I'm rereading this story but just discovered the cover. Wich I hate. Here you have an author writing about people with different skincolors and then you have... Publishers? I have no idea who pick the cover. But it is an damn shame that Bo isn't more Asian looking and Blaine... (well someone said she was darker than Bo on the cover... So I could be wrong) a bit darker. It's one of the reasons why I adore this series. People with backgrounds from all over the world, falling in love. Why not show that?

Also muscles. On both men and woman please. ( )

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the Mane Squeeze more, but it was great seeing what happened to the heroine's best friend from the previous book. I cannot recommend this series enough. Great stuff and the perfect relaxation read. ( )

~ 5 Beast Behaving Badly Stars ~

Beast Behaving Badly is book five in the Pride series by [a:Shelly Laurenston|65137|Shelly Laurenston|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1303073485p2/65137.jpg]. I absolutely love this series and its quirky fun loving characters. It can be read as a standalone, but this series is best read, at least the first time through in series order, so you can fall in love with all the characters and supporting characters that are introduced.

I adored this book the first time and the second. This series is one I will always read again and again. It is funny, sexy and entertaining. The characters always have something funny to say, they have loads of fun together, and I just love the family feel. Family is so important to all these shifters. As for the story it’s fast paced and hilarious.

Our Leads: Blayne, I love her. She is just crazy, all over the place, and constantly underestimated. Even her friends underestimate her. They have no idea what she is capable of. Bo, I just love him and his fox companions. He is so uptight, schedule oriented, and cranky. You would never expect him to joke, but he gives Blayne as good as he takes. Watching these two was so entertaining, as complete opposites attract.

Beast Behaving Badly was a hilariously, fun, and entertaining read. I highly recommend this series. The characters are so infectious and fascinating.

Let sleeping dogs lie. Bo knows it's good advice, but he can't leave Blayne be. Blame it on her sweet sexiness -- or his hunch that there's more to this little wolfdog than meets the eye. Blayne has depths he hasn't yet begun to fathom -- much as he'd like to. She may insist Bo's nothing but a pain in her delectable behind, but polar bears have patience in spades. Soon she'll realize how good they can be together. And when she does, animal instinct tells him it'll be worth the wait...
