Description

A collection of poems and stories by a Navajo poet. In Ahidziskeii, she writes: "It's not a grand thing after all, / just that warm comfort in murmuring 'good night, ' / before I sink into that dark quiet / that exists only when we're together."

One of the strongest pieces of Native American storytelling I have had the pleasure of reading. Tapahonso's voice is strong and her words flow in a way that will resonate with generations. The reader is able to see a bit of his or herself in the stories shared by the author.

I highly recommend taking the time to read these beautiful words!
Beautiful poems written by a Native American telling stories and poems about native life and feelings.
